My Style & Approach

Life inevitably comes with challenges. As your therapist, I aim to create a warm, safe, and judgment-free space for you to share your story. I recognize that each person has their own unique experience of the world, and I am committed to hearing your story and tailoring my approach to suit your needs. I focus on increasing self-awareness through learning about the relationship between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors and the mind-to-body connection of your nervous system. My interventions are evidence-based and integrative based on your needs and emphasize empowerment through strengths and coping skills that are aligned with your values. My approach is trauma-informed, client-centred, and approached with compassion and sensitivity.

Education, Training, & Professional Development

I possess a Master's Degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from York University. I have experience working with youth and adults, where I discovered my passion for helping and supporting others through encouragement and support growth. I have encountered clients with anxiety, depression, trauma, developmental disabilities, and a lack of support and motivation. I utilized strength evaluation, coping skills, and emotional regulation to help guide them toward achieving their goals. I have volunteered at the Toronto Distress Call Centre where I was trained in crisis intervention and solution-focused therapy for victims of abuse and people struggling with suicidality and self-harm. I am honoured to have worked with those in need. I am a student of life passionate about self-discovery and professional development.

Personal Interests

I am an adventurous person who loves to be active outside in nature. I enjoy walks, hikes, biking, and uncovering scenic areas. When I am not outside, I enjoy cooking, baking, painting, drawing, gaming, and reading. I enjoy challenging myself and I am always picking up new hobbies or planning trips to keep life interesting!
